Group Information

Vision

To transition Rugby and the surrounding area and community towards a sustainable and ethical future, resilient to the challenges posed by climate change and the impact of human activities on the environment. 

AIMS

• To Share our vision, raising awareness of the opportunities and challenges we face and bringing together passionate people to work with us towards achieving it, while creating an atmosphere of enjoyment and community. 

• To Support people in Rugby Borough to create and deliver programmes of activity involving the local community which align with our vision. 

• To Build, sustain and share a productive network of contacts and relationships with supportive and like-minded organisations and individuals, including the Transition Town network of which we are a part 

• To Remain fully inclusive, non-political and committed to opposing social injustice 

• To provide a space for Inner Transition, to process our current climate reality and reimagine our collective vision for the future. 

Steering Group

The Steering Group is responsible for coordinating activities and consists of the following roles as of May 2024:

• Secretary - Alex Becker

• Treasurer - Becca Stevenson

Annual General Meeting

We hold an AGM in April or May, all members are invited to attend and vote. To become a member, please complete the membership form. Further details can be found in our Constitution.
